Honest summary

Rekordbox's built-in export to Serato is a reasonable starting point for a simple, one-time migration. For a library under 200 tracks with no custom cue names or loops, it may be all you need.

Where it falls short: the color mapping is approximate (RGB distance, not perceptual), loop points don't transfer, and there's no preview mode — changes are committed immediately. For libraries over a few hundred tracks, the export process is also slow and occasionally crashes.

briDJe imports and exports the five supported library formats. Cue, loop, grid and metadata mappings depend on the target. Traktor uses cue-type colours; Engine DJ does not support track colour. Serato and Engine omit unnumbered memory cues unless you assign them to free pads. Preview is read-only; writing requires review acceptance. Check the current manual and verify a small transfer in your DJ software.
