Engine DJ

Zuletzt aktualisiert

briDJe reads the Engine DJ library folder, which contains a SQLite database. This is used by Engine DJ desktop software and Denon SC hardware players.

What briDJe imports

  • All tracks in your library
  • Hot cues and memory cues
  • Loops
  • Beat grids and BPM values
  • Track metadata (title, artist, BPM, key, genre, label, comment)
  • Playlists and folder structure

Default library location

OSPath
macOS~/Music/Engine Library
WindowsC:\Users\[you]\Music\Engine Library

Import steps

  1. Open briDJe and go to Import → Import Library (Cmd+I / Ctrl+I)
  2. Select Engine DJ from the source buttons
  3. Click Browse and select the Engine Library folder — not a file inside it
  4. Tick Import playlists if you want to bring in your playlist structure
  5. Click Import

briDJe never modifies your Engine DJ database — it reads only.

Troubleshooting

Import shows no tracks — Make sure you selected the Engine Library folder itself, not a subfolder or file inside it. Engine DJ must have been opened at least once so the database has been created.
