Manuale Utente briDJe

Serato DJ Pro

Ultimo aggiornamento

Serato stores its library as hidden files inside your music folders — not in a single database file. Point briDJe at the root folder that contains your Serato-managed music.

What briDJe imports

  • All tracks in your library
  • Cue points and hot cues
  • Loops
  • BPM and key values
  • Crates and smart crates (as regular playlists)

Default library location

OSPath
macOS~/Music (or wherever Serato scanned your music)
WindowsC:\Users\[you]\Music

Import steps

  1. Open briDJe and go to Import → Import Library (Cmd+I / Ctrl+I)
  2. Select Serato from the source buttons
  3. Click Browse and select the root music folder — not the hidden _Serato_ subfolder inside it
  4. Tick Import playlists to bring in crates and smart crates
  5. Tick Read tags to also read Serato data from file ID3 tags (slower but more complete, recommended for full accuracy)
  6. Click Import

briDJe never modifies your Serato database or audio files during import — it reads only.

Troubleshooting

Import shows no tracks — Make sure you selected the root music folder (e.g. ~/Music), not the _Serato_ subfolder inside it. Serato must have scanned that folder at least once.

Missing cues on some tracks — Try ticking Read tags on reimport. Some Serato cue data lives in ID3 GEOB tags rather than the database files.
