Traktor Pro

briDJe reads Traktor’s collection.nml file directly. This is a single XML file — not the Traktor library folder.

What briDJe imports

• All tracks in your collection
• Hot cues and cue points
• Loops
• Beat grids and BPM values
• Track metadata (title, artist, BPM, key, genre, label, comment)
• Playlists and folder structure

Default library location

OS	Path
macOS	~/Documents/Native Instruments/Traktor [version]/collection.nml
Windows	C:\Users\[you]\Documents\Native Instruments\Traktor [version]\collection.nml

Import steps

1. Open briDJe and go to Import → Import Library (Cmd+I / Ctrl+I)
2. Select Traktor from the source buttons
3. Click Browse and navigate to collection.nml — make sure you select the file, not the folder
4. Tick Import playlists if you want to bring in your Traktor playlists
5. Click Import

briDJe never modifies your collection.nml — it reads only.

Notes

Traktor stores file paths with a /: prefix (e.g. /:Users/:dj/:Music). briDJe handles this automatically — your paths will resolve correctly.

Troubleshooting

Import shows no tracks — Make sure you selected collection.nml, not the Traktor folder that contains it. The file is in Documents/Native Instruments/Traktor [version]/.
