Rekordbox

briDJe reads the Rekordbox SQLite database directly. Rekordbox must be installed and have been opened at least once so the database exists.

What briDJe imports

• All tracks in your library
• Hot cues and memory cues
• Loops and loop points
• Beat grids and BPM values
• Track metadata (title, artist, BPM, key, genre, album, label, year)
• Playlists and folder structure

Default library location

Import steps

1. Open briDJe and go to Import → Import Library (Cmd+I / Ctrl+I)
2. Select Rekordbox from the source buttons
3. Click Browse and navigate to master.db
4. Tick Import playlists if you want to bring in your playlist and folder structure
5. Click Import

briDJe never modifies your Rekordbox database — it reads only.

Notes

Encrypted database: Rekordbox uses an encrypted database (SQLcipher). briDJe ships with the necessary decryption library on both macOS and Windows — no extra setup needed.

If Rekordbox is open while you import, close it first to avoid file locking issues.

Troubleshooting

Import shows no tracks — Make sure Rekordbox has been opened at least once so the database has been created. Confirm you’re selecting master.db, not a folder.
