Hot Cues

What transfers
briDJe transfers all cue points imported from your DJ software. Each platform uses different terminology — Rekordbox “memory cues”, Serato “cue points”, Traktor “cue points” — briDJe maps them all to the appropriate format in the target platform.
For each cue point, briDJe preserves:
- Position (minutes:seconds.milliseconds)
- Label — where the target platform supports labels
- Color — translated to the closest perceptual match in the target platform’s palette
- Type — hot cue, memory cue, or loop
All 5 supported platforms handle up to 8 hot cue slots per track. briDJe transfers all occupied slots.
Key translation
briDJe automatically translates musical keys between platforms. Each platform uses its own notation:

Your Settings → Key Notation preference controls how keys are displayed in briDJe; exports always write the format each platform expects.
Viewing and editing cues in briDJe
Press D or click Details to open the track detail panel. The Cue Points section shows all cues for the selected track.
Click any Label to rename it. Click any Color dot to change the color.
To add a new cue point, load the track in the Deck Player, navigate to the position you want, and click + in the Cue Points section.

The labeled buttons A–H below the waveform are hot cue slots, mapped to keyboard keys 1–8:
- Click a lit button to jump to that cue
- Click an unlit button to set a new cue at the current playhead position
